"I used Climbing Cards on one of my regular 12+ NICAS sessions and they were a big hit. Everyone was really interested in them, and they were a great way to open up a discussion on techniques. We have a range of abilities in this group and the cards got people talking and learning from each other which was great to see. There are many game options using these cards. We picked the word cards and had to demonstrate the techniques seen on the cards for the others to guess. This was a great way to learn while actually finding ways to demonstrate the techniques. The following weeks I had members of the group pointing out techniques they had learned from the cards so definitely got them thinking! Great tool for coaching!"
